Hub Score; Why do scores fall down and what are the reasons.
64Hub scores fall because:
Hubs that don't attract their own traffic will lose hubscore. You have to generated your own traffic to your hub. Some of this is done by doing the following:
Publish consistently and promote. What I mean by that is, you need to keep producing hubs with good original content. If the reader or fellow hub citizen likes what they read, they should leave a comment. If it's positive, your score should go up. If negative, it will fall.
Also, you yourself need to be a good citizen and participate in the community. You should be commenting on other hubs, answering request, (like I am doing now) and participating in the forums all in a non-promotional manner. Active participants tend to draw more traffic to their hubs.
Make sure any hubs with links to outside sites have the, "Commerical Hub Checked" and "Ad level set to high" (this is the default).
And of course, "No Spammy Behavior"
Read the "term of use".
I hope this helps some with your question.

I have been a member for months but have only recently started to take part in the comunity. There is just so much to learn.
Good info. Guess I better get to hubbin'...
Hey handinn, thanks for leaving your comment!
I hope this helps some with your question. Yes it did, I was wondering why my hub page score kept fluctuating, now I know.
Thanks
Hi Natchar -
This is a topic I've been wondering about a lot. It seems my hub scores go up & down during the day, and I've been unable to work out why. Thanks for some tips that should help me boost it -- and keep it there!
- Deanna.
It isn't easy to keep adding good content articles but it certainly is worth it. Good information.
Keep producing hubs? You only have 3. I wrote one hub and my score was higher than yours. Your information is good, and you should probably use it.
This information was timely and very much appreciated. I'm a newbie and have been taking some time to just explore and get a feel for what's going on here and posting the odd comment. Does giving a thumbs up or down have any bearing on one's hub score? Thanks again for the information here...it does make things a lot clearer for me.
I am trying to find out about hub scores and this hub clarified some of my issues. I just spent ages on my newest hub and it sunk to 46 almost immediately for some reason!
thanks... good advice. :-)
very good hub! it sure answers my question
Thanks for the advice...
Thanks Ken and the rest of you that have posted. This advise should help you all if followed. Happy Hubbing!
Thanks, I'm a huge newbie, but this really helped! ^^
THANK YOU! @(0*0)@ = It's supposed to be a Koala...
Thanks I just joined and really have no idea what I'm doing. Thanks for answering one of my many questions!
nice, I hope this info helps.
Hi, it's very straight forward and helpful. I have a question, how does the system know the comments are positive or negative? Thanks!
My author score has been dropping the last couple of days. Good to know why. thanks
Thanks for the comment. It should help your score from falling.
thanks for the tips Natchar
I'm very new to hub pages too so although I know some of what you just mentioned, it's a good reminder. It pays to be active and visit many hubpages.
